If you are a Preacher/Pastor/Minister who is a woman GET THIS BOOK! If you are a Pastor/Preacher/Minister who is a man, get this book! The experiences chronicled in this book are so important to the journey as a preacher, as a woman. The embedded and, I dare say, systemic beliefs and practices against preachers who are women cannot be more understand felt than what is shared in this book. The experiences were so relatable and tearful until I had to grab a journal to write out and pray out my own painful memories.
The layout of the book is excellent Categories also include historical accounts of women in ministry and highlights of women in the Bible used outside of the traditional confines.
This book is telling, is an eye-opener and would be great for seminaries to use to pull back all of the layers women in ministry experience, to help deal with the trauma and dangerous mindsets and practices harmful, not only to preachers who are women, but to the church at large.
Very thankful for this book!! If we can get the lessons this book is teaching us, congregational around the world will see a move of God like never before!!
